EQE 350 4Matic Sedan and SUV
New EQE Owner Part II

About a month ago, I introduced myself as a new EQE 350 4Matic Sedan owner. I am very happy with my new car ... even after being a BMW loyalist for nearly 20 years. That said, my joy for the new EQE led me to get my wife her own EQE 350 4Matic SUV this past weekend. Now we are twinsies with two Pinnacle models.

Looking forward to having 2 EQEs in our garage!

Welcome. What was your and your wife's BMW history? Would love a comparison of the two, likes3, dislikes, etc. whenever you get a chance. I know it's ICE vs EV but might still be interesting to hear.

Me:
2007 BMW 328 xi
2010 BMW 535i xDrive
2014 BMW 535i xDrive
2017 BMW 540i xDrive
2021 BMW 540i xDrive

Wife:
2012 BMW X5 xDrive 35i
2015 BMW X5 xDrive 35i
2018 BMW X5 xDrive 35i

I have been a loyalist since my first BMW as I always found BMW to be a sportier looking and feeling vehicle. As the years went on, I was starting to want a change especially with some of the exterior design elements that BMW has been introducing (large grilles, controversial lines, etc.). I was worried about the performance of my EQE Sedan compared to my BMWs but I have been pleasantly surprised with the performance angle. The pick-up is great. The power is great. And both will only get better when I pull the trigger on the Acceleration Boost feature for $600/year. The EQE is much more luxurious and the MBUX system is a lot better than my last iDrive system. I also cannot miss the fact that my lease rate on the EQE was hundreds of dollars less than a comparable i5. In the end, that was the deciding factor.

Since the EQE SUV has only been in the garage for a few days, I don't yet have my wife's likes/dislikes. But I know her feelings are similar to mine.
