LOL, it is. But the interior doesn't creak and rattle like a Mercedes. It's very well built. I just can't seem to get excited about it though.

You know, this new bronze thing is growing on me. Was hoping for a NACS connector but I guess that's not a deal breaker. I might finally be able to get rid of my Mercedes, which I really don't like.

Reason 2025 are out now is 2026 MY will be refreshed and the spy shots indicate it will be significantly less fugly. I'm still thinking about it though because sound system is probably the best in any car at any price. And it'll be the last one without Android Automotive OS (not to be confused with Android Auto) which I simply refuse to use (period). Google has crossed the line.

I don't think there is much change.
The only change seems to be the headlights and rear lights.
The grille is still the same.
The LCI iX will start production in March next year.

.. says the grille will now glow in the dark, so it'll look fugly at night too. And there'll be a M70 that replaces the M60.

Lets see who gives me a better trade-in deal... the Audi Q8 e-tron is by far the best looking electric SUV.

I'm just so sick and tired of being told to wait that even if Lucid released the Gravity today I'd probably pass on it. Same goes for the Lotus Eletre. They can keep 'em.

Well Lucid managed to get bailed out by the Saudis again so I guess Gravity will actually get built. I really hate having the gear selector on a stalk like in my EQE 500 SUV though. Thought I'd get used to it but I really haven't. Every time I switch vehicles I fumble around trying to figure out how to get my windows washed. If I had to do it all over again I think I'd go for the BMW iX as a daily driver but at this point there no compelling reason for me to trade-in (no NACS connector and refresh coming). So looks like I'm keeping my Mercedes for a while longer... *sigh*

I can help you with the window wash issue... wiper/wash controls are on the left side of the steering wheel, gear shifter on the right ;-) If you hate your Mercedes that much, you should just get rid of it, complaining about it in this forum isn't going to help.

Getting rid of it is the plan. And complaining about it might help someone else who is used to wiper/wash controls on the right from decades of muscle memory programming. But thanks for your useless comment, it didn't help.

I have driven many different manufacturers cars, and the secondary controls are always in different places. I just deal with it. Even within the same brands they move around a bit from year to year. It could be worse, it could get buried in a submenu on the touch screen as Tesla is doing.
