Customer wanted to have a better brake performance so he chose to upgrade, and here are some points that I can share of what I learned:
1. Brake disc weight comparison, old one is 388mm, while the new disc is 415mm. However, the new disc uses a hollow design, for weight reduction.
2. If I were to compare the original 4pot calipers with the 6pot AMG calipers, I'd say the 6 pot is obviously bigger and offers a smooth braking effect.
3. Looking on the back of the calipers, it seems that the caliper was repainted without uninstalling it. This is nice, because the difference will be even bigger, and the after effect even better.
4. Customer upgraded to 21inch AMG wheels and after rigorous testing, we concluded that no spacer is required for installation.
