So around 2 week ago i got my first OTA after i pick the car : "Software update for vehicle charging system: Occupant restraint controller", i think download was fine but it stuck on installation, i tried to turn off engine, park mode&brake, it was still there , info popup gives a tip about battery level tried on 60%, 70% ... 100%. Non satisfied installation conditions, anyone familar with this one? I am adding screenshots and mb version, my 12V status shows charged but health is still "calculation not yet possible" i dont know if its problem, service said if i can not solve it stop by next week, MBUX : RL_NTG7_E445.001_23364AC3
It's referring to the 12v battery level. I recall reading in one of these on-line fora that "calculation not yet possible" could, in fact, be a degrading 12v battery, so I think a trip to the dealer is in order for you.
I have not come across this particular update yet. I find it so aggravating that MB can write so much totally inscrutable descriptive text. What could "Occupant Restraint" possibly have to do with the Vehicle Charging System??!!??
Thanks @ScottC2 yeah I didnt get what it is, during charging not to get stuck inside? weird dealer just told me they have replaced 12V under warranty about a month ago, maybe calibration is not finished, I will make a reservation
I will just add small note here , with my obsession and grumpiness small things can become big, if anyone reading this topic and phantom drain topic and considering the car yes I have payed service few visits , I have paid nothing, never rejected from dealer, all caused by software oddities & replecable items 12V etc..., other issues have already resolved and some of them were unique to me and hopefully this will be my last visit for a while but rest of things/futures and my trips: I am very happy so far, our car added lot of nice memories to me and the SO. Would I buy again yes but I would do my best to get rid of "oddities" during warranty period.

Hello, yes I have paid a visit previous week they did first non-technical inspection with settings etc. and consulted service for remote diagnostic, there was no xentry errors for batteries as well, then we scheduled technical inspection/diagnostic for another date since they were loaded and I got spot for it this week. My speculation is some 12V update needed after change (my battery just changed) since health stuck as "monitoring not available" but its only speculation also i didnt have any other error, it will be clear this week. Yet still I used opportunity to "demand" mbux 2.6.1 and got the promise , they even contacted mb for availability and asked me which version I want since some versions are available only for new CLAs mb.os from now on , I dont keep my hopes up for latest mbux that I will get immediatly but when its available they will reach me. I will add another update if its fixed or the cause found.

Thanks for the prompt response. Please do let us know when you make progress. I am on MBUX 2.6.1, battery ok, and have the same symptoms.
Will revert as well if I get it to work in the meantime.
UPDATE: Today my 12 V battery seems updated on mb me, it shows as good on app but still mbux didnt let me finish this update, so I visited dealer, they kept the car, they are looking on it now.

I've been there-- mine had got 'stuck' at the same point -- and the dealer kept it overnight and applied the updates to all the modules -- so I have the functionality of the update, but on the App, it still shows as Not Installed.
And now I've got the same issue with an iphone/MagSafe update thats stuck in Continue limbo.

So it likes (prefer?) to download when you are not driving or while driving?
I think it was downloaded but wasn't letting me install but never gave me any exact reason other than "technical" reasons but didnt say like "you need to have 50%". I charged to 80% sat in the car and it didn't let me install so I ran some errands and when I came back in my driveway and turned off the car it came up on MBUX to install.

Interesting so it likes to install when the battery is at a lower charge level, (well, most likely the cellular reception/signal strength might had affected the install and download).

another update from me returned from dealer with car, what they told me diagnostic machine popup an update and they have installed , when I return home I notice mbux and the mobile app was in same status, i forget to check sw version of mbux. Only idea i got now at the moment some software confusion going on at background or some another software version already installed it as whole package i.e. e445 or e505 and prevents that one, similar that you can not install apps from android because made for prev. versions, as @JO2025 mentioned maybe not worth to go to dealer and give it a time I needed balancing so it was ok for me to visit.
