I'm halfway through a 3 yr lease on my 2024 EQE and at approx 12K miles the treads on my tires are real low (3/16). I am going to need to get new ones soon. I have three goals
1. Long lasting (don't want to have to get another set before returning vehicle)
2. Will meet Mercedes requirements when I return the vehicle
3. Low cost
As far as #2 is concerned, my lease is pretty vague. It just says that whatever tires I get have to be "equivalent in quality and performance to the original tires" and tires on each axle need to be the same. I'm not sure how they will decide what is equivalent. Is there an objective standard?
Anyone have any recs on what tires I should get that best meet the above criteria.

What tire/wheel size do you currently have? Do you need all season, or are summer tires ok (or preferred)

You can replace them with the same tire without issue. However, there are a number of MO or MOE tires - Mercedes equips different tires based on region - it might help if you tell us where you are. If I recall, usually the AMGs are equipped with summer tires. MO and MOE basically mean manufacturer approved tires. To avoid having to replace the tires one more time choose tires with a better tread rating.Originally Posted by eltonk

What do you have on it now?
