Are These Butt Ugly Wheel Inserts Removable?

I could kick myself for not paying enough

attention to all the listings on the build. Are the inserts easy to remove? I am fairly knowledgeable with automotive painting but wonder if it would be worth it. Is it me or are these the worse idea ever created? EQS SUV has not arrived yet….

Shop for aftermarket rims instead.

You have to remove the wheel to remove the inserts. there are torx screws securing them from the back.

Got it. Any pictures of wheels without them? Thanks

I dunno, 383 Mercedes logos, per wheel, doesn't seem like quite enough to me. I hope you got the matching thousand star grill.

Ok- I'm retired and a bit behind an some language things. I may be writing from Sweden, but my native language is American. Does "they look sick" mean they are good looking or ugly looking? Context suggests good looking.

I’m considering an EQS580. One of the things holding me back on the one I found is the wheel mesh covers on the RW0 wheel. Are those removable and does anyone know what the calipers behind these wheels Look like? I like the AMG line wheels but can’t seem to find one configured the way I like it w those wheels.

Umm, not sure how to feel about these. First time seeing them and first impression is 'cheap and gawdy' but maybe they look better in the flesh. Are they heavy? Serve any sort of aero purpose?

It's form follows function for me. They are b*TT ugly but I like what little added range that they provide on my routine drives with one charging station in a 220 mile gap.

rims with inserts

So, I ended up getting a new EQS 580 SUV, I my self also didn't pay attention, but I spoke to a company near me and was able to powder coat the rims in black and spray the inserts black. He showed me the rim without the insert and looked terrible so ended up going with the company and well they turned out pretty decent.

oh thanks for sharing. Looks much better. I don’t want to go through the extra trouble so I think I will just wait til one comes along that has the wheels I want. Thanks again.
