yes it works on standard burmester 3D surrround system. See my experience with the following thread

To my knowledge all 2023 EQS/EQE/S class/ maybach models have the latest Mbux which support atmos streaming using Apple Music. It only works through native Mbux online streaming app, you can’t stream Dolby atmos through CarPlay. The most optimal experience would be if they offered 4D surround system in EQS SUV/ sedan like that in the Maybach EQS SUV, Maybach sedan, and optional in S580. Nevertheless, it is pretty great with the “stock” system. Outside of North America I think the 3D surround system is an add on option for EQS.
