2023 AMG EQS
It was taken away with the promise of a return for the sedan because they said it was an unfinished product. It has returned for the EQS and EQE AMG and as of today it’s an AMG exclusive.
I believe it will remain an AMG exclusive but I could be wrong.

I take it there was an OTA update? Question, my car has been at the dealer for 5 days and I take delivery tomorrow. Is it receiving OTA updates before the car is turned over to me and my account is set up on Mercedes Me. app?

Have the dealer apply all the software updates before delivery, many of them can only be done at the dealership/service center. And yes , I believe the roaring pulse come through an OTA while at my home.

Thx. I called my salesman today and asked him if software updates have been performed. I was told yes, the dealership does that during their PDI (pre delivery inspection). He also mentioned all updates are now done OTA. I corrected him and said many have to be done at the dealer. He was unaware of that fact. He did say Mercedes has gone to yearly subscriptions to things that we used to get free for the first three years. Well 10 am tomorrow I finally pick up the vehicle. Hope all goes smoothly. I did get my ChargePoint flex installed in my garage 2 weeks ago so charging shouldn’t be an issue.

26 EQS 400 SUV, 23 EQS 580 SUV (sold), 19 X7 (sold), 17/14 GLS550 (sold), 13 GL550 (sold)
We've owned our EQS 580 SUV for two months and I haven't received any OTA updates yet. And BTW, Roaring Pulse plus two other sounds were available the day we picked it up. The dealership may have applied an update, I didn't ask and they didn't say.

I picked up my 580 sedan yesterday and roaring pulse was on it. I think it’s pretty cool too. Just getting used to the car. The weather has been pretty crappy the last few days and I got the beige interior so I haven’t driven it too much so far but so far the experience has been great. My all weather mats should arrive Friday. Still looking for a cargo mat for the back.
