I have just installed one of these no drill front license plate holders and it works great. If anyone buys one of these be sure to by the “leveler” also or the plate will tilt too forward at the top on the EQS SUV.
I have 8 automobiles in my garage and walk in and out of the area many times some days. When doing so I carry my EQS keys in one of these pouches so the door handles don’t present and unlock every time I walk by the EQS….
My wife used to always complain about shoulder belts being uncomfortable so I have these in all my MB’s. They keep her happy. You know, Happy Wife…Happy Life.
I place strips of clear sill plate protection tape on the passengers sill areas of all my cars to protect the paint. Due to her poor health my wife drags her shoes on the sill area getting in and out of our vehicles. Comes in clear or colors, in rolls or pre cut strips.
I first acquired these pouches and cases for use in my Taycan which had very awkward storage areas that made it difficult to retrieve items when needed. I am continuing to use these items to store things like USB cables/adapters, registration/insurance documents, and charger RFID cards in the EQS.
@Utopia Texas Do you have a link to the Slybracket model you purchased? Looking into getting one as well. Are you happy with it? And how long did it take to install?

Go to the link above then the link for shop now, then the link to shop by brand, then the link to Mercedes Benz and then the page pictured below that shows horizontal and vertical slats. Easy to adjust and clip on once you see how it works. The accessory levelers took me a bit to figure out as my brain isn’t as sharp as it used to be!

They are spring loaded and simply clamp onto the lower horizontal bars of the grill after some adjustment. After the spring loaded parts are where you want them you tighten some tiny Allen screws, then the plate backing is bolted to the spring loaded frame. Like I posted above the plate levelers confused me initially until I thought it over. Without the levelers the plate on a EQS tilts too much forward at the top. You will get parts with the kit that you will not use on the EQS.
Re: Slybrackets: I just ordered mine. Fingers crossed it all goes well. I hope I don't have any radar issues if I install it in the lower grille.
The no drill bracket has the license plate sitting well below the sensors. As mine is seen in the picture I could adjust the license plate vertically another inch up or about four inches lower. I am impressed with the design and installation of the bracket. Not so impressed with the thin plastic the lower MB grill is made from which is not as stable as I would prefer. I do realize the grill is just for looks and made as light as possible for EV weight reduction.
I am currently cobbling up a padded block to fit between the No Drill License Plate bracket and the lower grill base to take any pressure off the thin plastic grill where the bracket mounts. I will paint the block the same color as the grill and since it will be hidden behind the license plate no one will ever know it is there.

I installed the Slybracket today and it sticks out about 2" from the bumper. Reaching out to Slybracket to see if there's a solution to make the plate closer to the car. Looks good from the front but the plates are being picked up in the front camera. Will report back if there is a solution.
UPDATE: Apparently some parts are inverted in my installation. SlyBrackets offers text support and sent a video on correct installation. It's raining cats and dogs right now so I'll try my install again tomorrow. Fingers crossed it looks better than what I have now! The front camera is showing the plate Another view of the distance between the car and the plate. The front plate sticks out about 2 inches away from the car.

Also tilt the top of the license plate in where it almost touches the bumper and it will look just fine and barely show up on the front camera.
PS- I do not like how flimsy the plastic radiator is on the front so after installing the bracket added a painted wood block with felt on the bottom between the bumper and the bracket base. It not only stabilizes the whole set up but cannot be seen since it is behind the license plate and is painted black like my bumper.

I'll try that. SlyBrackets text support told me there's multiple things wrong with my install.
Though a well made product it is adaptable to many cars thus the instructions are not great. I had no problem with the bracket install but the accessory tilting parts confused me at first….
Yes! The bracket part was super easy. The "flip the whatever it is that's called that holds the bracket" step was what got me bad. I think I took 20 mins to figure it out. I asked SlyBrackets if there was an end to end video to help with install, they said no. They did send me a video of how to correctly assemble the leveler.
Here is a lightened picture where you can better see the wood block install. I occasionally go through a automatic car wash and am a bit leery of the plastic grill holding up. The block is made from a standard piece of 1x2 from a lumber yard. It is not actually 1x2 but with thick felt on the bottom slides in with a tiny bit of pressure but not enough to stress the plastic grill. A rubber block would probably be more appropriate. I also drilled two holes in the block and added long tie wraps so it does not move and cannot come out. If you need more info on this pm me.

Slybracket no-drill front plate holder install, 2nd attempt.
With Slybracket Text Support, I figured out how to install the dang thing correctly.
Front view - I also installed a WeatherTec plate bumper.
The plate is much more flush than when I originally installed it. SlyBrackets text support helped me understand the written instructions (which is VERY confusing).
What I like: The front plate does not touch the bumper at all, and is in front of the grille, not the bumper. (Photo is a bit angled so it looks like it is on the silver bumper but it really is just over the grille). Also, if properly installed, it does not show up on the front camera at all. Looks wise - 100% recommend.
What I don't like: I'm a bit leery of how sturdy it will be if I were to go into an automated carwash. I almost want to take the whole dang thing off before going into one, but it's not very simple to do that. I also found that the metal would scratch the plastic grille over time, so I attached one of those furniture felt pads (but I made it less thick) to help protect the grille. I'm also trying to figure out a way to make it feel more sturdy.
Other possible no-drill options: The original plastic bracket holder (that you have to drill into the bumper), with automotive double sided tape and some sort of a bracket attachment or wires attached to the grille. If I didn't find Slybrackets, I may have just gone to Home Depot and found materials to secure the bracket holder without drilling.
All in all, I'm about 80% happy with Slybrackets.
