New to the electric world
The question that I hope you fine ladies and gents might be able to shed some light on is...
in the Mercedes Me app under charging programs you can set maximum state of charge and a couple of other parameters. What I'm confused with is the state of charge setting, does that mean that if I set it to 80% it will only charge the vehicle up to 80% of the battery? I installed the Charge Point charger yesterday and its great with the app and all that but it does not let you set how much to charge the car. I'm hoping the ME App does that using this setting. looking forward to the feedback
BTW I still have my C63, I like making Gretta cry every day when I start it up. LOL

P.S.-I would recommend sitting in the EQS for 10 minutes or so and go through all the screens and also variables in the steering wheel buttons. That way you will know not only the capabilities but how to get there. Much easier than going through the manual which can be confusing.

Thanks for the response and yes I have sat in it and set up all the options, not very un-similar to to options and settings that were in the AMG 53 SUV we traded in. The electric charging options were new of course and the ME app as well as the MB videos were useless. The thing is I set it to 80% in the Home plan on ME, set the Charge Point to start at 10 PM in that app. When it started to charge the ME app gave this error:
The car charged to 80% and then stopped as expected it just had the "Not charging" error the whole time and sent a few error text messages saying it was not charging. The Charge Point had no errors on its app and did a pretty good job in charging the car from 50% to 80% in two hours . So any ideas why the error on the app??
I know the ME app is total crap, I have been using it for years. Its always something or another, its a total waste of money. Any feedback is appreciated.

We also use a ChargePoint Home Flex and have never seen this occur in three months of ownership.
