I have taken the wheels off my EQS SUV a few times and the 86 pound wheel and tire combination is a bear to remount. Aligning the wheel with a wheel hanger is not easy. I finally broke down and ordered a TRAC Tire Jack. What a difference! You only need to lift the tire about 1/2" off the ground to be able to position the jack beneath the tire. The roller on the tire jack makes it very easy to pull the tire away from the hub or to move it towards the hub when you remount the tire.
The TRAC Tire Jack won't work very well on a gravel shoulder, but for rotating tires in you garage with a smooth floor it is a real back saver.
Bought the tire jack at JMC for $5 less than on Amazon. There is a short video clip at this link.
I had this for years, I use it to remove the tires on my Lexus LX570. I have a bad back so this help a lot. I haven't tried it on the EQS yet but I'm sure it works the same.
The TRAC Tire Jack works well. I am expecting to be removing and re-installing the wheels repeatedly as I move forward on the level sensor link chassis lowering project. Without the TRAC jack I need to take a rest after installing just one wheel. :-)
I have the 21's on a 21 . It's been over a month since I've had her. And it's been a painful . Bubbled tires, Replaced rim . 2 replaced tires. Stranded nights in Columbus Ohio waiting for a new rim. Route 70 man. not a fan.
Frequent visits to the dealer . Ugh . I was about to go trade it in take the loss and just move on . Until . Back roads. Northeast. sport + . It was a beast. the 21's were perfect for that . My new mindset is that slowly drive it out of the city gentle. don't hit anything. then once upstate . Back roads. enjoy . I don't use as a daily. it's my leave the city car . Flame me. But you got to admit. the 21's when on the right roads. right conditions. are brilliant. 2021 > S580 > Feature Delete .

Regarding 21-in s580 tire and Wheel blow out for 150k
Hi All. My mouth dropped when I read all these threads regarding the same issue I am having with my 2022 S580. I am astonished to see that this many people have had the same issue as me with this cursed car. I got the sports package on the car with the nice looking 21-in rims and infamous pirelli tires everyone is talking about. . Immediately within a month, I had a tire blowout and a bubble in my other tire. Since then, I have had 6 additional blown out tires. Each time leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere. Each time without a spare or tires which can withstand the weight of the car. I had to catch a tow each time and was stranded. This is the biggest waste of $150,000 I have spent in my life.
Does anyone have some advice regarding what I can do to resolve this issue, both with Mercedes and so I don't lose my mind with this car?
Does anyone have pictures of their tire blowouts? Pictures of the damage to their tires, sidewalls, rims, etc?
