Car was brand new when I did it. I did a quick clay job then prepared the surface as per Avalon’s instructions. Ceramic went on very easy. Very satisfied with results. In fact we just ceramic coated my 42 ft center console boat hull. Took us several hours but cost was less than $100.

Fortunately the subcontractor the dealer uses is very good. Here in Florida where it is summer 12 months a year, once a month usually does it. Of course to me a car is meant to be used, not pampered. A little dirt gives it character....

Wow, I thought the car wash mode would be standard on the whole EQS line but now it appears not to be so. I wonder what packages have it.

Yup that is a good question, I wonder if it has to do with some "convenience package" or something. that gets bundled, I mean it can't be a hardware limitation.
