I was wondering if the people who took delivery could clarify that the day where you go and sign the paperwork is the day you also take the SUV with you?

Dealer says that the ETA is 26th and that paperwork will be done on 29th or before. Just wondering!

I assume it depends on how long it takes them to get the SUV ready after it arrives from the factory. Mine showed up at the dealership absolutely filthy, as were the others on the truck, so they needed to remove plastic in some areas, wash and install some software updates. I always pay by bank check so on the scheduled day I went in and signed the papers, went to the local bank for a check, took the check back to the dealership and drove the SUV home.

They called me on the Dec 22 to let me know it had just arrived after waiting 8 months, then they called me on the 30th and told me it would be ready to pick up on Dec 31st... LOL. We went in on the 31st and were out in 35 min. Then again I did all the finance stuff ahead of time, been doing business with the same dealer / sales rep for over 12 years now.

 

Update! I was able to pick up the car the very same day and was a very smooth process! So happy! Checking for accessories now...
