Accessing EQS SUV brake fluid reservoir

For the left-hand drive EQS SUV the brake fluid reservoir is located beneath a plastic cover on the driver side at the rear edge of the hood. This cover has a rubber seal around the perimeter and two clips along each side as well as the bottom edge. The top edge has two longer tabs. To remove the cover start by positioning the windshield wiper blades in the service position. This must be done prior to opening the hood since the wipers do not operate while the hood is open. Once the wipers are out of the way open the hood to facilitate lifting the two lower corners of the cover to release the clips on the sides and bottom edge.

I forgot to mention that the part number for the cover is 296-831-57-00. The 296 prefix indicates that the part was originally for the EQS SUV. I couldn't find a similar part for the EQE SUV, so it's possible that the brake fluid reservoir is not in the same position in the 294 chassis.
