New EQS580 SUV
Just picked up a new EQS580 SUV pinnacle with the Manufaktur Neva Grey/Blue interior to replace my EQS450+ pinnacle sedan.
I was getting tired of the ground clearance issues on the sedan, the last straw being the cars bumper being pulled forward when loading onto a flat bed for a flat tire change.
Really enjoying the SUV and the acoustic comfort package makes the interior eerily quiet. I am missing the ventilated and multi contour rear seats, which I had on the sedan.
The Manufaktur interior, which adds leather to the dash top, upper door panels, door armrests, and center armrest really does a lot to elevate the interior to S Class standards.
I’m overall much happier with the SUV than the sedan.

Congratulations!
Where did you pick up the 2024 EQS SUV? I haven't seen any availability in my area, so we ordered one a month ago and are still waiting for an allocation to be assigned. The ETA for our vehicle is in May/June timeframe.

If I had only driven the EQS, I would think it’s the best riding car in the world. Firstly, the SUV rides better than the sedan I’m replacing it with. It seems like it’s due to more wheel travel and more tire side wheel along with a heavier curb weight.
However, my i7, which is equipped with active comfort drive with road preview, is a paradigm shift in automotive suspensions. The body remains completely flat in all situations. The ride quality is seemingly better than the eqs in its capacity to dispel of imperfections with a one and done suspension rebound, while having none of the float of the Mercedes. Basically there’s no head toss at all in the car.
