2nd tire rotation for 20" tires
I reached the 10000 mile mark on my 265/50R-20 PIRELLI SCORPION AS PLUS 3 XL tires. These are the non-EV tires I switched to after 24000 miles on the factory supplied 21" Goodyear run flats. After the second tire rotation the average tread depth is 10/32". Two tires are at 10.25/32", one tire is 10/32", and the fourth tire is 9.75/32". The two tires that are worn a little more were mounted in the left rear position for 5000 miles.
At the current rate of wear I am expecting to get at least 50K miles out of the tires. My average mpkWh has not changed since downsizing to the 20" tires.
Rotor and pad wear continues to be negligible. The front rotors measure 32.9mm and the rear rotors are at 21.7mm. Minimum measurement is 30.4mm and 19.4mm respectively for front and rear rotors. I am confident that the rotors will go a minimum of 100K miles. Front pads are at 7.5mm and rear pads are about 6mm.
My SUV has been lowered about 20mm for the last 5000 miles. When I rotated the tires I noted that the tread depth for the inner most groove is about 0.5/32" less than the grrove with the deepest tread depth. This is barely noticeable, so it seems that the ~2 degree negative camber is not causing excessive tire wear.

I am curious as to your miles per Kw between EV built tires and regular tires. I need to make a decision soon on new tires and wonder how much mileage may drop not using tires designed and made specifically for EV’s.

The 21” tires were mounted on EV aero type wheels. The 20” tires are on open spoke wheels. The particular 20” tires I purchased have the same exact 8.9” tread width as the original 21” tires. Some 265/50 R20 tires have a slightly more narrow tire patch.
i am very happy with the 20” tires. They cost half was much as the 21” Goodyears and they will last for twice as many miles.
