Question: Is the EQS580 SUV only available with the AMG Line body work or can you get a 580 without it? Also, is there a high end audio system optional? Thanks.

AMG line only. No high end audio system unless you go to Maybach model

Techncally the Maybach isn't a high end audio either, they just give it nicer speakers.

Yes. This EQS450 4-Matic SUV I have as a loaner, has the Burmester audio and I believe they tout this as being a "3D Surround" system. In the W222 S Class, they called the base system "Surround" and the optional one the "High End 3D Surround." I guess without the words "High End," it's just the basic Burmester system in this EQS that is pretty much everywhere. The sound I am getting in this EQS is not great.

I look at by it's code - MB's regular surround sound is "810" where as the rare "high end" is 811. The Maybach it touted as having an better audio system then the regular non Maybach EQSs, but it is also "810", the more basic system that is standard in all EQS Sedans and SUVs in the US. I don't believe any EQS has an "811" level system anywhere in the world.

The Burmester 3D in the EQS sounds phenomenal when listening to Dolby Atmos content through built-in MBUX Apple Music or music through Tidal, but all other sources including Bluetooth Audio/USB/CarPlay were not very impressive.

I’m sure you are right. I’m listening to my same playlist off my iPhone. It sounded much better in my S560 with the 3D High End and in my S580 with the 4D High End systems.

Does the system do dolby surround upmix (simulated surround) for normal 2 channel (non-Atmos) source?
