Have just received my EQS SUV 580 and found this forum. Thanks in advance for any help!

I keep getting an email about it having a Digital Key that I can install (see below text from the email).

I dont have a Digital Key function that I can see, in my Mercedes App. I have a Samsung Fold 5 and I'm in the UK.

I've tried the setting in the car but this doesn't work either. The first time I did it, it seemed to do "something", downloading what looked like some sort of functionality from Google. But now I just get this error when I try and set it up from the car.

Does this feature work on an Android phone?

To ensure convenient and straightforward setup on your compatible end device*, please follow these stepsownload the Mercedes-Benz App from the App Store and install it on the end device on which you intend to use the Digital Vehicle Key.Log in to the Mercedes-Benz App with your Mercedes-Benz account details.Select your vehicle featuring the option "Pre-installation for Digital Vehicle Key".Click on the "Digital Vehicle Key" tile.Start the creation of the Digital Vehicle Key via "Start pairing".

Adding the Digital Vehicle Key to WalletOpen the Mercedes-Benz App.Tap the "Digital Vehicle Key" tile.Tap "Set up your Digital Vehicle Key".Tap "Continue" and place your device in the Wireless Media Interface (WMI) tray of the vehicle.Once the process is finished, tap "Continue" to start sharing your vehicle key with the iWatch or decide to do this later on.Sharing the Digital Vehicle Key with iWatchEnsure that the iWatch is paired to your device.Open the Watch app.Tap "Wallet & Apple Pay".Tap the "Add" button next to the Digital Vehicle Key and then "Add now".Confirm the operation by double pressing the side button and then tap "Done".Wait for the status of the Digital Vehicle Key to change from "Activating" to "Active". Currently, the Digital Vehicle Key feature is not supported on Android devices. We understand that this may be disappointing, and we sincerely appreciate your interest in this functionality.

At this time, there is no confirmed timeframe for when the service will become available on Android devices. However, we are continuously working to expand our features and improve compatibility.
