Smile Anniversary of 2 years Free of DC Fast charge Summary

MB sent me an email and congrat my full 2 years of ownership MY2023 EQS580 next month and sadly to set an end to the 2-year complement DC fast charge at Electricfy America(EA). So far I put 33k miles and may be ~34k by next month. Without repeating, I did post 12-month and 18-month threads here and this thread is continuation of those. I have no major issue to mention for the last 5 months. Just some annoying charging hiccups here and there. Still so happy driving it avery day commuting and short roadtrips here and there. Occasionally, there are range anxiety and questionable charging episodes especially in the winter fridgit cold.
I start this new thread for the historical summary. I will post more update later. TIA

2 full-year Summary: My EQS580 came with 2 full years FREE DC charge with Electrify America (EA), the total is 15,137 kWh DC fast charges comprised from MB Connect app; excluding home and public FREE AC charges here and there. The 2nd year anniversary was concluded by 3/20/2026 with 34k miles and the end of FREE charge.
Just 2 major episodes: Replaced the BIG battery pack and Replaced DCCA Board; 25 days and 7 days out with loaners, respectively. There were some updates and 1st complement 2yr/20K service that had to be done at the Service Dept. 1 new set of tires Michelin Cross Climate for the winters in MN.
Very happy with my EQS580 so far. One more year to go and I would let MB take it back at the end of the lease. The reason is MY2023 without the heat pump... It's not good for MN winters; Energy consuming is almost 40% more compared to the Summer and charging is twice as long. That's all folks.

Thanks for the update! I agree the MY23s are very different cars and experience compared to the rest of the fleet. Do you have an idea which car you would replace it with?

Our MY24 EQS SUV 450+ has been amazing so far! At 65k miles, there has been no major electronic/battery issues. I still have the free 2-year EA DC charging for another 6-months, but I do mostly home charging partly due to convenience and since I intend to keep the car long term. On my 3rd set of rear tires and 2nd set of front tires. I rotate them around every 10k miles. First set of front tires actually got to 60k miles! Not surprising being a rear wheel drive and doing mostly highway miles. Did a tire alignment at 50k miles, after installing the 3rd set of rear tires.

The car does take the stress and expense off my long (1hr+) daily commute. Based on the reliability experienced within the first 50k miles, I decided not to go with an extended warranty. Fixed a coolant leak observed early in the car's life; was in a loaner for ~1 week. Observed an intermittent rattle from the rear passenger side door, at almost 50k miles, which the dealer tried to fix under warranty, but the rattle came back after ~2 weeks. So decided to live with it.

No noticeable battery degradation yet, can still do 350-400 miles on a full charge at moderate highway speeds.

Congrats on your second anniversary! (Mine is coming in 3 month).
Good for you to making great use of free charging!
I live near Sacramento, and we only have a couple of Electrify America statins, none of them is close.
I used it twice (waiting for my wife at some appointments), got ~ 40 kWh each time.
My night-time electricity rate is $0.11, so I saved about $4 each time. Not a great deal for 30 minutes + waiting for a spot.

How did you get an overnight rate of 11¢! What generator and distributor are you using, and what rate plan!? I use Avya for generation and PG&E for distribution on the EV2 tariff, and the best I can get is 37¢/kWh at night.

PG&E is notorious for high rates.
You can't usually choose a provider. I am near Sacramento, and we are served by SMUD.
We use tiered plan (quoting from memory, might be off a little) - $0.35 pick time (5:00PM-8:00PM), $0.20 "medium" and $0.12 night.
With registered EV at the house, I get a $0.015 discount between midnight and 6:00AM. That's the only time I charge.

UPDATE:
Just looked it up, was pretty close

Here in Missouri we are limited to one provider. However, I only pay 2 cents/kwh from midnight to 6am! Monopolies are crap, but in this one little narrow window, it is a pretty good deal.
