The U.S. traditionally gets the newest models from about 6 months to as long as a year after the European launch of the models. I did see a tv add for the EQS on Sunday and it noted a fall 2021 launch.

MBUSA's website needs an update badly. With the car expecting a (hopefully) June/July release and it pretty much being May I would have thought they would at least create a configurator page for the vehicle. I've been waiting for them to arrive at my dealer but annoyingly they are just stockpiling at the port.

Yep, I got word from my dealer that GLC and GLA's will be very difficult to get soon due to the chip shortage. Will likely really hurt sales due to those being large volume models.

Why should Tesla worry about having a business that includes a profit? They are hundreds of millions of dollars in debt yet their creditors and stock holders appear to be giddy with happiness over the business model....😊

I saw on another post that you ordered an Edition One. Do you care to reveal which dealer. There are around 400 dealers in the US and only 50 Edition Ones to be manufactured. The allocation will be interesting. I am in Dallas.

There is lots to like about Tesla as a driver of EV acceptance and certain tech but as a product (the actual cars) I find the them unattractive and poorly build. The German auto mag AMS just tested a US built Model Y against 5 other EV's and it came in last...
Motors, range and supercharger stations don't equal a great car...

I'm definitely interested in test driving the EQS when it arrives in the US this fall but will most likely wait for the EQS-SUV which is at least another year away before buying our first EV. Who knows, the EQS may sway our thinking and we'll be amongst the first to own an Edition One.

Yes it was. One thing I am curious about is he mentioned the iridescent paint, but none of the videos have captured the effect of the iridescent paint. I am curious because based on the photos the blue Edition 1 looks rather plain.

I am literally in love with the interior but I despise the exterior. The inside of this vehicle is the best car experience I have ever laid eyes on, but the exterior is the minimalist most boring element of a car. Mercedes Please transplant this interior on to the w223. Or Make a very heavy customizable EQS vehicle with many exterior effects to make it look much much different than the regular EQS. The interior is a work of Art.
My dream would be to make a Coupe version of the EQS, an EQS-CPE. A two door version of this would be the perfect car, I know im in the minority I think top 2 of the best Mercedes designed cars ever is the 2018 to 2020 S63 coupe, and the SLR Mclaren.
