The evolution of design-language changes:
1. That is UGLY!
2. I wouldn't call it ugly but its not for me.
3. I like parts of the new design.
4. It's growing on me.
5. I saw it in person and it doesn't look that bad.
6. I kind of like it now.
7. I'm in love and bought one.

I am still stuck on 1. I am really hoping I go from 1 straight to 5 when I see it. I am buying it for the interior and the tech anyway but I really want to hit 5-6-7 before purchase lol

I love the Obsidian Black as seen in the RoCars video, couple that with the black AMG exterior bumpers and it looks bad-***. I actually really like the front end!
I'm just debating whether to go with the 22" Wheels.

● Important! The following equipment is currently required on all EQS orders
● EQS 450+: Ventilated Seats (401), 10-Degree Rear Axle Steering (216)
● AMG Line Exterior Package (DG1), AMG Line Wheel (Choice of RWX or RWY), Ventilated Seats (401), 10-
Degree Rear Axle Steering (216)
Some great pics of the 22" wheels below, but it is on the 450+, I'm going to talk to my dealer tomorrow to see if there is any reason it is not for the 580.

I'm less concerned with the overall styling than with the driving characteristics.
The braking and handling performance, is it more soft and cushy or leans towards the responsive?

They haven't talked much about the ride. I was hoping it would have the road scanning technology to smooth bumps and active anti roll bars to keep the car level in turns, but I don't think it does.

From what I understand ti is more responsive than an S-Class while still providing a great ride.

The economy didn't sound steller. 2.21, 2.48 miles per KW

So they have no idea when it will become available in the US. Also he was on a test track and turned it on and I guess it would just keep driving along the test track. So can you navigate with auto pilot, ie put in a point of interest and it will drive the car there going thru intersections, lights and stop signs as long as it doesn’t go above 60 km/hr? It would have to sense pedestrians and stop for them as well. It looks really cool, but I don’t see this coming to the US anytime soon.

Nothing but click-bait. I saw this video the other day. Silly and pointless comparison of a single motor EQS 450 with other dual-motor EV's. But even if they had an EQS 580, it's a luxury car, not a race car.
We'll see how the others stack up against the EQS AMG with 761 HP next year, it will be much more suited to such a drag race.

Its because he has the map all the way zoomed out in satellite mode, I had the same experience in the new S-Class, it requires a lot of processing power since satellite view is much more detailed, especially with how zoomed out it was. The standard style map as well as once zoomed closer in is much smoother.
