15 AMG S63 4-matic coupe
I'm ok with almost all of it, but MB-TEX ??? really??? you're killing me here.
I want' an EV version of my S63 coupe. I'm ok with the 4 doors but I want to be coddled and cosseted.
I want my exclusive quilted nappa leather with drive dynamic seats bolsters, while I get a warm stone massage as I whip through the tight twisties.

MB-Tex is likely the base option, as EV's are all about sustainable materials and production. The 450 and 580 both offer Nappa Leather and Multi-Contour Seats with Massage so its very likely the 53 will also feature these.

Ahh the key here is they are multi-contour but not drive dynamic.

The dynamic seats are typically included with the multi-contour functionality.

There is growing demand for animal free interiors in cars. And this is particularly true in the EV segment which is often purchased by people who follow sustainable practices.

BTW The animal-free interiors look very good - this is not the low-end grainy MB-TEX that they use on an A-Class. This is Nappa MB-TEX. You probably already have it on your S63 - it is the black nappa material at the top of the doors and on the dash. Mercedes switched these areas to Nappa MB-TEX for durability reasons given the intense sun exposure next to the window.

One of the things that will be nice in this car will be instant engagement of power.
In all of my other Mercs, it always takes that moment to engage the transmission.
Typically around a second, probably just under, even the DCT in the GT S.
But is will be effectively direct drive. it will be microseconds from pushing the throttle to wheels beginning twist.

but the thing is the taycan has at least a unique and sleek profile. eqs kinda looks like an egg even with the eqs amg

Yes but Taycan's shape comes at expense of usable back seats. They should have just made it a coupe.

In addition to the groundbreaking technology inside the vehicle, the AMG EQS also benefits from the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ variable all-wheel drive system. Standard on all AMG EQS models, the system continuously distributes the drive torque between the front and rear axles, depending on the driving situation. Compared to a mechanical all-wheel drive system, the electro-specific system ensures a significantly faster response; the torque is checked 10,000 times per minute and adjusted if necessary.

The driving dynamics are further enhanced with the standard AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension with adaptive adjustable damping. Like the EQS from Mercedes-EQ, the suspension of the new Mercedes-AMG EQS features a four-link axle at the front and a multi-link axle at the rear. AMG engineers specifically improved the components and configured them to meet the special requirements of AMG customers. The AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension is based on AIRMATIC air suspension combined with adaptive, electronically controlled adjustable damping together with rear-axle steering of up to 9-degrees as standard.

To help ensure safe driving on the road, the entire suite of enhanced active and passive Driver Assistance Systems are included for every AMG EQS. With this, the vehicle can automatically maintain its speed and preset distance to the traffic in front as well as stay in its lane on multi-lane roads, and reduce the vehicle speed according to the traffic situation.

Additional thoughtful interior elements include, heated and ventilated front seats, leather seating surfaces, active multicontour front seats with enhanced massage and comfort headrests, wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging in the front and Burmester® Surround Sound System with 3D Sound, EQ Sound Experience and Sound Personalization.

The all-new AMG EQS represents a new era in the performance segment, providing innovative electric mobility without sacrificing the sporty and agile driving dynamics characteristic of Mercedes-AMG.
