My VPC is Brunswick as well. They have to add a couple things to the car prior to sending to dealer like wheel locks and spoiler I am told. Hopefully not too many delays once it gets to VPC and on to Texas

 

Dealer allowed me to test drive a 450+

Placed an order shortly for a Pinnacle trim with rear seat massage.

 

My order (from way back in June) accepted the toll pass. The general manager checked it a few days ago and the toll pass is still there.

Friend of mine had a new S class with the integrated toll transponder. Said nothing but a nightmare. Hasn’t really been set up to function on Mercedes’ yet. His dealer has no clue how it works and even how to activate it. He has been going thru tolls thinking it was working and a month later started getting violation letters from ezpass. He’s up to hundreds of dollars in fines and Mercedes’ has said basically he’s on his own. I planned on ordering it but my local ezpass gives me a $3 discount on a $4 toll. The integrated toll device does not give you the discount. Twice a day over the bridge at $6 savings adds up real fast.

@BeanTrader, isn't your dealer doing a big markup on your price? My local dealer wants a $30,000 markup!

 

I’m just thankful that at my age - 89 - and that we have a low mileage (20M) ‘18 S560, I don’t need my soon-to-arrive 460+, because I would never pay a dealer a marked up price.

 

I have just looked at the side-by-side front photos shown on Motortrend’s online comparison.

To me, the Lucid Air pictured looks like it has a snowplow blade mounted on its front end.

 

The exterior styling of these cars is of little import at best they all look like a modified jellybean. Its inevitable. People love to rhapsodize about car design when the fact is that after the 5th floor from a building overlooking a parking lot they all look like different colored boxes.

 

I would NEVER pay a "market adjustment" fee, no car is worth it. They are all depreciating assets.

 

No markup at all. I've been one of their favorite customers. I would tell your dealer shove it. I bet if you wait a while, you'll be able to get it at MSRP.

Having downloaded the EQS Owners Manual, whilst awaiting Turkey 🦃 Time, I have been printing out the controls diagrams and other relevant data as I await my Cardinal Red 450+.

Nothing like a little pre-delivery familiarization!

Ive been reading the owners manuals, unfortunately its as useless as all MB manuals. 2/3 of the manual are useless warnings to satisfy the lawyers. In effect they are so bad to illustrate how to actually use the cars controls and features that they may as well not have them at all. It would be more intelligent to have an entire separate manual just with the warning BS.
I hope some one at MB reads this.

How could I have been so wrong?

 

I can't find the thread which mentioned that there is now an Owner's Manual for the EQS. After quickly going through the online manual I have one immediate question. Is the standard display the only one offered on the EQS? I have three (standard, sport and one other that I can't remember what they call it) on my current S450. I'm hoping that it's the same case for the EQS580. Can someone confirm this?
