The 53 will sacrifice range for performance. It still will not be a replacement for a 63. You simply cannot get that type of dynamics from a vehicle that weighs 3 tons.

I have a 450+ on order. Deciding between 20 and 21 inch wheels..While I like the stance the 21s give, I'm concerned about the ride being too harsh on the 21s. Any thoughts?

go for the 21. The reviews have all been unanimous on the ride being very very plush, the 20s might make the car a little too torpid.

While the base 20' 5-Spokes don't look bad, I'd recommend upgrading to 21' wheels, mainly just to get the AMG-Line styling which I think suits the car more. I didn't find the ride on 21's during my test drive to be harsh at all, suspension tuning is very well done on the EQS.

In my case my dealer showed me my 450+ was on board the Vehicle Carrier Donington and where the ship was bound.

I searched for the ship and found it at a site called Vesselfinder. It gave its location and ETA.
This is updated regularly.

"Vesselfinder" has a good phone app too. Good fun at the beach when you can see a ship on the horizon and want to know what sort it is, its name, where its been/going and what's on it! Fantastically detailed info for terrorist looking to blow s.h.i.t up or pirates looking to steal stuff. "Plane finder" is just as good if you are looking to bring something down with that SAM in your shed! Its amazing the details they make public!!! Both apps are free too.

Your dealer can see the name of the vessel on which your car has been loaded.

The name of the vessel appears a few days after leaving Germany. My car was loaded on 11/26 but the info only appeared on 12/4.

Once you know your vessel you get a specific ETA on arrival at your port

You used to be able to put your VIN into the WWL (shipping company) site and it would tell you what ship your car is on. Then you just plug in your ship to one of the many ship tracking apps. I have tracked my previous 2 S class cars this way.

Just ordered this config from MB North Scottsdale. I am 21st in line for their EQS 580 allocation so they said I might not get it until a year from now as a 2023 (I'm fine w/that). They said they have immediate allocation for EQS 450+ orders.

Rear seatbelt airbag. However, I think it's only available with DB6 - Executive Rear Seat Package (which I had him remove) so that will likely fall off.

I’m getting a bit bored waiting for the EQS. I’m considering getting a Taycan Turbo to drive while I wait. Does anyone else have one of these?

I test drove it today. While it’s not as up to date or luxurious as the EQS I thought it was a pretty nice car.
