Chrome delete - opinions?
I was planning to Chrome Delete my Obsidian 580 with the 21" AMG multispoke turbine wheels. However my wife upon seeing the car for the first time yesterday thinks that the chrome works really well with the turbine wheels.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Especially those with a Black EQS. I wouldn't even be entertaining keeping the chrome if I had Magno Grey.

Novice here as to chrome delete. I have Magno gray on preorder and thinking about altering the chrome. Is it a film wrapping process or do you take off the chrome and replace with black trim.

You could do either. However typically it is less expensive to remove the chrome and wrap it in vinyl then reinstall it. Also since this is a new car, and the black trim isn't offered on US models from the factory, sourcing the black trim would take some time.

Looks like I will be in the minority here as I've always liked me a bit of chrome, especially when it contrasts nicely such as it does in your situation. That being said, maybe my opinion would change if I saw a photo of an EQS with some window tint. The one in the first photo reminds me of base model Audi's with their lack of tint and cheap plastic window trim.

As I like a traditional look my instinct was to say no to the chrome delete, however.....looking at the picture with the chrome delete vs the one with the chrome the whole "bow look" looks much better with the chrome delete.

I agree. I think the issue is that the bow is not symmetrical but it is kind of symmetrical, and this draws attention to that. It is also very long which makes the car look bulky. The exceptionally thick chrome trim draws attention to these things. I would rather eyes focus on the wheels or the sleek low drag shape of the car. Not the windows or the bulk. I am going to delete it.
