Impact from Ukraine catastrophe?
Does anyone here know what the impact, if any, will be from the horrible Ukraine/Russia war? Will our EQS's be stuck in the German port for longer periods than already exist? Thanks in advance.

My dealer notified me yesterday that my EQS AMG has left Germany on the vessel Boheme, scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on the 13th of March. At this stage of the war it didn’t impact ships leaving the end of February.

The title could be changed a bit to better reflect the opening message as the intention seems to be to figure out how the Russian attack to Ukraine affects Mercedes deliveries (to the US?). I'm sure we do not want to give the impression that this is the only thing that we care, not giving any sympathy to the people suffering from the attack to an independent country and causing huge suffering for civilians.
I'm not aware of parts for an EQS coming from Ukraine and transport from the West to the West is not affected by any means, excluding perhaps something like an Estonian ship sinking near Ukraine (Black Sea).
Mercedes has stopped export to Russia which would give parts in shortage for other countries although no significant effect.

Your original message was fine. I just "complained" about the title.
Later on learned that there are quite a few MB parts suppliers in Ukraine. Yet another reason to wish a quick end of that tragedy.
