Actual Mileage

Ok - two things.
With the price of gas going up 5 - 10 cents daily, it is worth it to fill up everyday.
2nd - I took the EQS580 on its first long trip today. Charged up to 100% last night and went on 110 one way trip. Took 35% charge to get there. I didn’t think that was bad. Used ChargePoint to charge almost 5 hours and it got back up to 90%.
I’m very pleased with mileage/charge distance now.

Plug-in hybrids are regularly driven down to 0% SOC because the small battery. The car intelligence should not allow this if it was bad for the battery. Isn't the battery technology the same, just a lot smaller battery?
There was an advice to drive the battery relatively flat and leave it parked overnight before charging and this was for battery health but I cannot remember the recommended SOC, was it 10 or 20%.
Isn't the issue with very low battery charge levels related to long time parking where leakage may result to unhealthy battery SOC?
Perhaps someone could collect MB recommendations to one forum post (is that even possible). No need to argue about different aspects of charging all over the forum?

Exactly!
Don't go below 20% and don't go above 80% unless needed and definitely don't do it on a regular basis.
Nothing wrong if you want to deliberately drive your battery below 20% just don't complain when it starts to degrade faster than others.

My ChargePoint charger, on my 50amp 240 volt circuit at home, charges at 9.6kW. Near my house, Electrify America has eight DC fast chargers, several of which are 250kW. Use the Plugshare or Electrify America apps and you can find them. Also, If you adjust the parameters in your Navi system to display all chargers, instead of just ChargePoint chargers, they will show on your map.

In addition to the 80% recommendation, I have read that short/small charges are not good for the battery either. I am trying to work down to about 50-60% before charging back to 80.
I have found and I think others have confirmed that in cold weather the instant heat uses a noticeable amount of capacity. Once the car is warm consumption seems normal.

Too much to remember what to do. It's much easier to fill up the gas at the gas station.
