Did you guys have to pay the price increase? I got an updated copy of my build sheet from my dealer since the build finishes tomorrow, and the price has gone up to reflect the mid-year increase.

I would appreciate any suggestions or fixes on this: When the climate control is activated, the fan noise is very loud no matter what the temperature setting is. And, it doesn't seem to matter whether it's on auto or the fan setting on the lowest speed. The noise may reduce for a minute or so, but then comes back with a vengeance. The only solution that I found is to turn off the climate control. It's very annoying. I think it has something to do with the Energizing Comfort +. I'm bringing it to the dealer tomorrow afternoon.

I ordered the car back in June of 2021 it was allocated in October, and built sometime in February. It arrived in Baltimore in early April and finally to the dealer 2 days ago.

2022 Mercedes EQS 580
My dealer keeps telling me I'm getting the car for a steal at MSRP and they don't sell cars at MSRP anymore. So I doubt she will voluntarily offer me the price delta back. I think I may write to Mercedes USA about this.

Did your dealer tell you the price would be the same, or did you check with Mercedes about the price rebate?

2022 Mercedes EQS 580
My dealer told me about a month ago that I would pay the original MSRP and not the price increase one. Mercedes decided to make an agreement with dealers that they would be reimbursed the $6790. It was the fair thing to do for those who originally ordered the car many months ago. Even though the spec sheet had the new price with the increase, my dealer subtracted the price increase and the dealer would get reimbursed by Mercedes.

Additionally, I found out why the change lane assist was not working. Incredibly, there’s a learning period before it can be used. All of a sudden, it started working yesterday and I didn’t know why. After reading the manual on the bottom right of the of page 245, it specifically says that there’sa learning period before this option can be used.It helps to read the manual!!

They had me sign the original order to serve as a "contracted price" agreement.

I work at a MB dealer and am very involved in the EQ program. We have sold several EQSs since the US retail launch in December. We have received no documents or statements about a dealer credit from MBUSA for the difference of the mid year MSRP change. I think your dealer is giving you false info. Also if you look at the MSRP off of Netstar, the bottom does say “Pricing is subject to change. Mercedes-Benz reserves the right to make changes without notification”.

Regardless it seemsc ridiculous that they would raise the prices on orders made before the price increased. That would be a lot of bad faith since all the regular production 580 are starting to arrive now 6 mths after they went on sale. Virtually all the 580s sold up to now have been dealers testers and press cars.
