Regularly 361 miles SOC, 80% charge, 450+. I've seen 422 miles SOC when I charged to 100%.

When I charged to 80% about 5 days ago, my EQS580 read 365 miles of range.

Charged my 450+ overnight to 100% for trip today. 454 miles and averaged 248kwh for 161 miles. Parked with 65% (293 miles) remaining! Outside temp between 85 and 90 degrees.

That is unbelievable efficiency. I wonder what ambient temperature the efficiency peaks at. What speed did you average? obviously you were using the A/C given the temperatures. Would be curious how that would play out if you continued to drive it to an empty battery.

Would be interesting also to know if wheel size has any effect on range.

2022 EQS 450
This is an interesting format for somebody to post a "sticky" so we can respond like a poll and enter our top range at 80% and 100% and whether we decline over time or NOT. I was disappointed initially at only getting a max of 408-412 miles at 100% but I have seen improvement over the last two months.
I would post but don't have the tech skills or time.

Having owned a Tesla for 5 years I have learned to manage the "mileage drain" culprits. If you are new to this EV game, you will probably be amazed at the range loss in cold weather.

In some EVs, having bigger wheels would reduce the range by 20-40 miles. depending on the vehicle. That's what I was told, anyway.

I have 21” wheels with all season tires on my EQS580. As I stated above, when I charged it to 80% several days ago it said 365 miles. I think that’s fantastic. As I learn to drive more efficiently, the range can only improve in the warm/hot season. I totally realize that during frigid weather the range will decrease a lot.

Today I charged my 580 to 80%. It said my range was 343 miles. At 100% that corresponds to 429 miles. That’s pretty fantastic in my opinion. There is no doubt that the government underestimated the range. I’m thinking that 7-8 months of the year the range will be at least 400 miles. The government gave an estimate of 340 miles. For 3-4 months of the year the range will be close to that and probably a bit lower when it’s really cold outside. I love this car.

I usually see 420 with a full charge but have seen as high as 460. 😃 love this car! The efficiency is underrated.

2018 S560; 2022 EQS450+
Acquired my 450+ last Dec 27. Other than a couple 145 mile round-trips to the Cincinnati dealer, my all local driving has put a total of about 1,300 miles on the clock.
I have only charged to 100% once; I don’t recall the stated range; the best 80% charge range was about 385.
I often use Strong Recuperation to slow down for stop lights and signs, switching back to Normal almost immediately - minimizing brake pad wear.

In another direction, few weeks have passed without a compliment on my Cardinal Red car.

Previous daily driver is our still-owned ‘18 S560, now at close to 24,000 miles. It has become our long (300+miles) trip vehicle.

Past M Bs: ‘71 300SEL; mid-70s 450SEL; ‘11 E350 ragtop.

EQS 580
My app this morning showed 90% charge of 430 miles. The garage is not air conditioned and the temps here in FL have been in the 90's.

Hot temperatures don’t seem to affect the range much at all. However, I’m sure that frigid weather at times in the winter here in the Midwest will be a different story.

Here in San Antonio, when the weather was in the 50's or below this past Winter, the initial mileage drop was astounding....I occasionally lost 40 miles by the end of the block, and it then stabilized. I guess the intial warmup of car, seats, battery, etc causes a lot of drain, and cold batteries are not efficient batteries. But the heat seems to have little impact.

My eventual 580 will be garaged in SE Florida and my garage is not air conditioned as well. Any concerns about keeping an EV in a hot garage for a long period of time. I sweat just being in the garage for a short period of time during the warmer months. I have been toying with the idea of installing a mini ductless unit to cool my garage during the summer months. Also I haven’t decided as of yet whether to bring the EQS up north, as I summer in New England and currently leave my S class in Florida on a battery maintainer. I have an SUV in New England and only have need for a single car up north. I’ve given up on making the long drive back and forth from RI to Florida each year.

I put A/C in the garage 2 years ago. Love it. A lot of my neighbors have too.

Dont worry about the heat.....Unless you live in Arizona with 120 heat not to worry. Even there I wouldnt worry either. If the battery gets too hot it will cool itself leading to a slight redection in range.

The highway range test keep coming in. It seems 400 miles is a good estimate for max range.
