Resale value outlook

I have a new 2022 580 coming (built and awaiting ship in Bremerhaven). I am looking to sell me existing 580.
I put it on a car auction website and was offered $132,500 (vs original MSRP of $120k and current MSRP of $127k). Not bad.
But I do have two questions:
1) If I hold off 6 weeks till my new car is delivered or close to delivered, would the price still be similar?
2) Should I be concerned about buying a 2022 this late in the cycle, or do we think resale will be strong (10% or less depreciation per year) on 580s given the supply demand situation?

However, I do think Tesla hold their value in part because of the constant software updates. If Mercedes and other traditional manufacturers stick to the model where you have to buy a brand new car to get newer features they will drop in value faster but not as fast as ICE cars. Just my $0.02

So, resale is disappointing.
I sold my 580 to Salt Lake Mercedes this weekend for $125k. Not amazing but not too bad.

although, I wasn't attempting to "flip it," but I was leaning forward on my wife's interests, to PROVE what I already knew.
Given the posting's topic, I felt it worth sharing - have a blessed day.
Try this to get an idea, prices look good if they can be sold for this amount? Seems to be a lot out on the market with low miles. Makes me wonder why?

Best to lease EV's as ACV's are well below the residual pricing. You get to walk away knowing what the car will cost you for the duration. Some brands have great short-term leases. Mercedes used to have a nice 13 months lease on the EQS and Lucid has a really cheap 18 months lease.
