450 450. When I had the Powertrain Recall done a couple of weeks ago they said I had a major MBUX update which should have been over the internet but failed and an update that effected several modules. I took it back last week for a day and a half of software updates. This is current for the 450. I don’t see any noticeable changes on anything but I’m getting ready to drive from Georgia to Wisconsin for AirVenture and wanted everything up to date.
a little over 1700 EQSs were recalled as they had a power train control unit malfunction where the computer would not allow the car to turn on bc the 12V battery was not charged or did not appear to be charged.
this actually happened to me once but never happened again. Hopefully fixed now.
Not outdated according to Mercedesme app. It has "software update" button and it says software is up to date when I click the button.
There is nothing that I can do. It's a shame that MB doesn't fix promptly the multiple obvious bugs and shortcomings of the software.
As a computer engineer I can tell that there is no finished software. Software is always work in progress and software updates are necessary part of life.
I hope that MB will put their act together in this regard.

Well, in my opinion your SW is outdated if it isn't the latest one. Not necessarily a big deal, depends on which bugs bother you. MBUX updates are handled at the workshop. This is why Mercedes Me does not tell you about the existing update.
Let me get this straight. So, even though there’s a new software update, the app says we are up to date? In that case, I’m going to visit my dealer in Des Moines when I get home from northeast Ohio. I’ll also report on my experience with the EQS580 on this trip when I get home. What I can tell you right now is that the car out of this world great.
I was told that this new update was to address the specific MBUX issues I experienced. Even though my MBUX came back on the next morning, and everything was operating normally, they kept my car for a couple of days to complete the update. Several of the screens are different, and I had to redo all my favorites, and many of my settings, but all is well now.
