Child safety setting.
I have never left a child in a hot car, but reading the news about people who have, I really wish that Mercedes had a setting to prevent that. If sensors identify movement or noise inside the car, the AC should be turned on automatically and the owner notified via app or text.
This is such a simple thing to solve for in an EV. I find it astonishing no auto OEM has implemented this to save lives.

Ya it's puzzling. From what I've seen, the EQS shuts off if the driver gets out, even if you have left it on with AC etc and others in the car (passengers in both front and back seats). There are a host of other issues/bugs that need to be addressed as well. Just yesterday, SiriusXM radio vanished from the normal location in the UI nowhere to be found (it's not back). Given the supposed ability of OTA updates, I'm kinda shocked these types of issues haven't been addressed yet in a flagship sedan...
