Home Screen Rebooting

Anyone having the problem of Home Screen reboots when driving? It seems to happen to me if I'm on the road for 30 minutes or more. The center screen goes blank and then reboots a few minutes later requiring credentials to return to normal operation. Very annoying especially if you are navigating. I"ve got a service appointment Monday. I hope it's just a software update of some type.

I think the complete blackout is more common (restarts once the car has been parked for a while). Do you have the zero layer update? Could compare MBUX SW release to what others have posted here.

This was my experience. It came back the next day. No issues since then. Its a little unnerving since the whole MBUX system becomes inoperative, but the car otherwise runs and the drivers screen is unaffected.

Yes. I had the same issue. Have service update the MBUX software. That’s what fixed mine.
