Any idea why several of the apps are unavailable? I thought maybe it was because I had not signed up for a data plan for the car yet, however that does not seem to be the problem.
Thanks stealth pilot -- no the car was definitely in park -- HOWEVER it would seem that I have stumbled onto the solution! I tried to use the same technique as an iPhone for re-arranging the icons in the APPS screen, and when I depressed and held the Beginner Driver icon, it "magically" changed from greyed out to full color (ie clickable). When I then tap-clicked that icon it then initialized and open the Beginner Driver app. One-by-one, I then did the exact same thing for the Valet app and each of the Games apps and they each are now fully functional. Very strange, but regardless the problem is now resolved.

**UPDATE** yesterday the same apps that were greets out before are now greyed out again. Tried the same trick as before but no joy. Don’t care about the games but not having the Valet mode is an issue. Any ideas?????
On the Mercedes Me web services, all services are activated except Beginner Driver mode andValet Service mode.
Both needs to be purchased (subscription) according to the website. All other services are for one year, two year or unlimited.

Interesting. I wonder if they needed to be updated or re downloaded.
But on top of this, it says beginner mode is permanently activated and can’t be turned off. Dealer had no idea how to fix. Has been like this for months. Have to say I’m just disappointed by this car. Seems they focused on flash more than substance.
