Thanks for the reply. Yeah checked the settings and those are all set correctly. Planning on testing it out tonight and see how it works. Somethings have reset and fixed itself before so hoping for that but lets see.
Thanks

It reset itself. I think with all the cloud connectivity, it looks like the car checks online to enable these functionalities and if the Benz servers are down or not available the features in the car changes. This is assuming the sensors are working well. Anyway, glad that it is working now.
Thanks

Very interesting Acta. this sounds related to my issues. my 2020 glc300 gets driven very rarely (long story, only 8k miles). i get emails periodically "critical battery". car always starts and charges and is good for months before getting the same message. note: i turned off some features that monitor and send info out and that extends the time interval.

recently, i get a bunch of "inoperable" messages (ESP and others) periodically, but i continue driving and next time i start the car, no messages. now, after a critical batter alert, i see my first check engine light. i checked codes with a foxwell scanner with mb software and saw p0300 misfire on cylinders 1 and 3. also, a lot of "faults" in a car specific scan (me motor electronics fault 10, vgs transmission control fault 3, esp fault 1, etc). this must be related to the battery.

i haven't reset the codes since the car was driven and the battery got its charge back.

i haven't noticed any driving issues since i got the p0300 code. maybe worth noting: i replaced the engine air filter a few months ago and believe i reconnected everything properly.

any thoughts? (note: bought the car in 2019 so the warranty is up).

thanks in advance,
Scott

Check your tire inflation pressure. Tire inflation discrepancies can cause weird, seemingly unrelated warning messages which go away when you correct the tire pressure.

thanks for the suggestion. I reset the tire pressure and drove 25 miles with no check engine or "inoperable" messages. When I put it in reverse to park, the messages popped up (park assist, parking brake). Later, i drove home with no messages.

Do you think this is related to the discharging of the battery so many times? Someone linked the CEL (misfires) to electrical problems. Note: the battery always started the car easily, even after getting "critical battery" messages.

I got the same message on my 2022 EQS AMG and after a week in the shop it was determined to be a problem with my wheel speed sensor. Its been almost 8 months and had not seen the issue reappear.. The solution was sent by a mercedes engineer to my local dealership tech to perform..
