Today my detailer informed me that during the detailing of the car he saw that apparently a cap might be missing behind the wheels (in the wheel cover) at the left front.
I don't know if this is visible without removing the wheels (do not have the car here), but here are the pictures (notice the blue coloured connection without protection cap). Is this at your EQS also the case and should I get a cap at my service dealer (or is the blue thingy the protection cap)? Seems that dirt can enter this connection, seen the specific location?
Waiting answer from my dealership to see if a cap iq recommended, but at least I haven't lost the cap somewhere than ;-)
Someone should check wiring diagrams to see what the connector is for, if used. Seems not used in these few mentioned cars and then nothing to worry about. No harm even if salt and dirt kills the connector. Aesthetically a cap would have been nice in any case.
