EQS 450 4 matic sedan, Mercedes 550S
Dual motor EQS 450

Looking at the specs of EQS 450 V 4MATIC and wondering what kind of motors do they have front and rear
If they keep the rear motor the same as EQS 450 single motor than the front motor would be un-proportionally small at 26 HP. 355HP total for the dual motor - 329 for the single motor = 26HP
Furthermore per specs the curb weight of single motor EQS is equal to the curb weight of the dual motor. Second motor can't weight 0 if they keep the same rear motor.

Last but not least is how the mileage would be affected in dial motor EQS 450. They say in the specs that single motor 450 + has the best mileage and + stays for that. It is 350 miles EPA. On the other hand dual motor EQS580 has 340 EPA miles. Is it fair to assume that the dual motor EQS450 would be somewhere in between ?

This all leads me to believe that the dual motor EQS will come with two brand new motors. Any thoughts, comments on that ?

It is a different rear motor on the 4-Matic. More info on the thread where this 4-Matic model was first mentioned (the thread where I was of the opinion that there cannot be a 450 4-Matic because adding the front motor would make it "more than 450", I was wrong because they selected a lower power rear motor).
