They are refillable, the top screws off. You have to remove the tape on the side then it can easily be unscrewed.
You can use almost anything, cologne, perfume, oils, etc.
MB warns that using other than MB fragrance could lead to staining the interior so be careful with what you choose.
I used fragrance oils that were designed to be used that way.

One of the few things I opted out of. I hate perfumes. Its replacing one stink for another. Spend 450 bucks for clean air and then contaminate it with something else....great idea. Furtheremore, it eats up the glove box.

Well, Being born and raised in Texas I was hoping to find a refill fragrance called either “Loaded Nachos” or “Enchiladas Suisas”.

IMHO, it's at the point of each 10K service when MBZ should top-up or replace the fragrance reservoir free of charge; I mean after tire pressure, bug juice, fuse checks, and a brief software patch there's not much "service" to perform.

Using the Fragrance Atomizer
I have it on my EQS 580 Sedan but not able to make it work. I found the option for Fragrance on MBUX. When I select it three levels are available. I tried each of the levels but nothing happens. I checked the can ister in the glove compartment and it does have liquid in it.
Any suggestions?

Take it to the dealer, you have to be under warranty. I wish I had the fragrance in my EQS, I have it in my 550 and love it, enjoy the drive!

I have it on my 580 EQS sedan but never have used it because I’ve long since lost my sense of smell (long before Covid). In fact I had it on my S560 and still have the full jar from that car as well.
