AMG EQS Delivery
Ordered a AMG EQS at MSRP in February with a build date of July. Car produced mid-July and shipped from Germany on July 25 headed to the VPC in Baltimore, MD that serves the East Coast. Understood typical across the Ocean transit at 3-4 weeks, then Tuesday heard from the dealer there is a VPC Change and the dealer traced the vessel, finding it in Beaumont, TX. No other information, no other designated VPC and now two-months since production!
Has anyone else experienced anything similar or if docked in Texas which VPC it will go to? Understand other US - VPC's located in Brunswick, GA, Long Beach, CA, Ladson, SC and Vance, AL, none looking close to Beaumont, TX. Have installed ChargePoint chargers and waiting to use them!

My 23 580 was built on 20 July. Sat at port for a month before getting on ship. Went to Southampton UK, Halifax , Newark and finally arrived in Baltimore today. Currently is moored across the river from Mercedes’ VPC. Hopefully will get there tomorrow. Hoping it will leave VPC within 2 weeks

Believe me I’ve been patiently waiting and it’s oh so close now. I’m flying to Florida tomorrow and have a layover in Baltimore. Oh the urge to go to the VPC and try to see it but I know that’s not feasible. I’ll tell them I will drive it to the dealer. Lol.

If VPC Baltimore is anything like VPC Brunswick you'll be lucky to just get close. We were in the area after taking delivery and could only get close enough to see that there was a parking lot full of cars. While mine was in Brunswick, I did offer to go get it.

I can't confirm that 23 450 4Matic offers Hyperscreen and the cost thereof so I will order 23 580 to make sure. How long from pre-order to delivery and any tips on how to get the most out of completing a pre-order?

Allocation not the problem...am getting the first one to my dealer... problem is shipped from Germany designated to Baltimore VPC and the ship diverted to Texas. No additional information provided to the dealer and an inside contact at MBUSA not able, at least to today, to learn more!
