Warning… Interior protection coverage

I purchased interior/exterior coverage from my MB dealer for my EQS 450+. The Company issuing the policy was ECP Inc. The minute a claim is filed the run around starts… weeks and weeks and nothing gets repaired. A total waste of money. They find excuses to not cover anything… and never contact subcontractor locally to do it… after stating they would. Contractor is Stanley steamer… and thats another story… call centers in Philippines… and know nothing about claim either. On and on… never again

Interior protection

Stains on drivers white seat and door B pillar cloth. 3 different cleaners including one given with policy… will not remove stains.

Agree

But it was a choice of the 450+ with hyper… or wait for 1.5 years for one I order. This had just come in. I hate white also. Black with red stitching is me favorite. Thats what is in my E63s wagon… tripple black.

This place is a joke.
These are nothing more than stealership snake oil, guaranteed to cure all your ills, at least until the wagon moves on to the next town.

Seems very much like it.

I am planing to give that company grief. Small claims court action will cause them some grief. They will have grief… I will gain nothing but satisfaction they will go through what I have been.

… and the dealer will know I am not happy… and I am a very good customer there. 5 cars in 3 years…. And MAYBE continuing to get more.

I think you should tell the dealer that this issue is their problem because they sold you the protection plan. As far as you are concerned you paid for the protection and the dealer has to deliver the fix whether they get reimbursed or not. It wasn't your choice to get the package from a shady supplier - that was their choice. You bought it from a reputable dealer. It's their responsibility to live up to that reputability.

BTW I bought an interior exterior plan too from my dealer. Had a tire replaced on it already and it was very smooth and simple. The dealer just replaced the tire, and did the claim later. That's how dealers should run it. They know what to tell the plan provider to get the outcome they want.

On a separate note, while I did get this protection plan, I still paid my detailer to install a ceramic (silicon) coating on the leather to protect it from stains. This has made cleaning the leather very easy, and my leather looks like new despite my 2 year old dripping chocolate, lollipops and juice on the back seat from time to time.

What a horrible story!

If you do not mind, may I ask, which MB dealer in SC is that?
