charging cable with car
I got my EQS today.However the Mercedes Charging cable noted in drivers handbook,page 203, and brief booklet was not to be seen.Sales person did not know.What has been others experience?.

Mysteriously, some have it, some don't. Mine didn't, but my dealer provided one because mine was the first EQS they sold, back in January. They charge very slowly, but can sustain you until you get a Level 2 home charger installed, if need be. They are available for purchase, but I wouldn't purchase one. I would, instead, purchase one of the portable units available which can do level 1 or 2. There are threads about this on this forum, if you search.

The home charging cable was never supplied as part of a standard package. It was a separate option to order at $250 each. I did get one with my early October build, however, due to supply restraints they quickly were shorted on the build. If you had the optional cable ordered and it was unavailable, you got a "delete" and $250 refund.

It is NOT included. It must be ordered. DONT! A 110v only charger is utterly useless. I think I read somrwhere that its one of the items that is presently unavailable due to the chip shortage. Hopefully when they are available again they will have dual voltage units like every other OEM.
