I think my software is "corrupted." Here are three examples of things seem to be off.
1. I have been using the Assist dash screen and noticed % Max Power does not do anything. In the Classic screen, the dial moves. (See attached photo.)
2. Sometimes the software forgets some previous settings. For example, the Ambient internal lighting is set for multicolor animation (changing colors) but my passenger noticed that it was not working -- realized that the brightness was set to zero. Trust me -- I didn't set it to zero.
3. When I turn on the car, it says the Socket Flap Door was open -- it is not. (See attached photo.)
If it is a software issue, which like you mentioned very likely is, it could be corrected easily with the right tools. That said though, although not common, this issue does get reported : https://mbworld.org/forums/eqs/85000...-s-closed.html
