Message on startup or in MB - Charging socket open, when it’s closed
Has anyone seen the message/issue with “Charging socket flap open” message, when actually it’s closed?
I called dealer, they are asking to bring the car for checking.

EQS580
I had my 580 20,000 mile service done and they adjusted the flap sensor. Drove with the message for 15k miles waiting for any other issues with the car. Haven't seen the message reappear since they adjusted it. 22,000 miles now.

EQS 450+
Hello - yes I have my EQS45 in the dealership right now due to this issue. I absolutely love my EQS but it seems I have taken this car to the dealer of minor issues more than any other new car I have ever owned. I am beginning to get annoyed, regardless of the world class service my dealer provides and the loaners, its still time out of my day going and coming and time I'm not able to drive my $12) car and instead have a $455K gas engine car to drive around.

I have the same issue. The car (2022 EQS580) has 600 miles on it and it is a month old - the message pops up consistently every time I start the car. Waiting for the appointment at the dealer....

EQS 580
I have 2 EQS's in my family. One has already been in for the sensor adjustment. No problem ever since. The 2nd is now acting up; after XMAS, I will schedule that one in too. I wonder what Mercedes engineering is doing to fix this going forward.
