Brake light algorithm

I’ve been wondering about the algorithm for brake light in the EQS.

Seems like it’d come on with deceleration, but at what percentage of the current speed?

Once the car comes to full stop, does the brake light stay on without pressure on the brake pedal?
TIA.

Maybe a partial answer. Driving at night on a lonely road, I engaged strong recuperation. As soon as I took my foot off the accelerator break lights came on. As long as I had just a little pressure on the accelerator they did not. I did not bring the car to a full stop, but would assume that the break lights would stay on until I press the accelerator. Maybe the same occurs with cruise control engaged.
