Skipping Audio Tracks via Steering Wheel

Has anyone found a good way to skip audio tracks in the EQS that doesn't involve touching the Hyperscreen? On other vehicles, I've gotten used to skipping tracks via steering wheel buttons, but it's a bit tedious in the EQS since you have to use the steering wheel touchpads like a mouse/cursor to first select the desired function on screen and then click the select button.

It's been my experience that the touchpads are a bit awkward to use, and I'm wondering if I'm just not aware of a better way to do it.

Just say "Next Track" and be sure you've switched on the option of responding to your voice requests. It works perfectly. Agree that the touchpads for prior and next tracks are cumbersome for the driver.

You can also slide on the right hand button of the steering wheel and press ok. Pressing right or left will highlight different buttons on the center screen. When skip forward or backward is highlighted then press Ok to skip.

Thanks--but this is the process that I find cumbersome as it requires manipulating the steering wheel buttons and looking at the Hyperscreen. While I'm capable of that, I was hoping there was an easier way.

I’m so glad I’m both too deaf to enjoy any music, and uninterested in what I think is being played.

Using the up and down arrows as indicated in the picture with the red circle you can get a media display in your central screen where the odometer is (there are different display screens nav/odometer/eco rating etc). The media display will highlight the current track with album art as applicable. In a swiping motion brushing the right and left arrows on the steering wheel will change tracks when the central screen is in the media display. The lack of physical buttons on the steering wheel is frustrating, if you have fat fingers like me it is hard to do. What happens to me is my fat fingers and elder moments result in the central screen changing to a different display rather than a track switch. My son-in-law and daughter drive my car when they are in town and they think the steering wheel controls are so intuitive. I did not group up with touch screens so go figure.
