I tried that as well. No joy. There's one other spot that I have a gate transponder that works pretty well and that's on the small side window in the front on the driver's side.. I wish I had tried my toll transponder there before going to the touble of mounting a front license plate holder.

I thought of that originally but just wasn't confident enough that it would be secure. However after spending a lot of time and convincing my son to laser cut a plate for me, I probably should have taken another look.

Three bridges at Louisville - 2.5 hours west of me, where I haven’t been in years, and that’s it.

I have that sticker on my GLE since I keep it in Florida year round. It does work great and I barely can see it. I plan on taking my EQS back and forth between Florida and RI so for now am using regular transponder in the cut out to right side of mirror and swapping it out for an EZ pass transponder when I’m up north.

California we also have sticker transponder too that you can stick to the corner of windshield or on the headlight. Out of sight, out of mind!
btw, those stickers are a PIA to remove! Make sure you put them on straight the first time!

Sticker
I have the TxTag in Texas. It's a sticker. I'm amused that I read this whole thread twice and still can't figure out where to stick it (haha, see what I did there?). Anyway, since I only get one shot with this thing - where should I stick it? That rectangle space on the windshield in front of the passenger? Or next to the rear view mirror? Or somewhere else? Thanks guys.

I don't think I can, because for it to work it has to be completely "sticked" because that how the wire in it activates. Besides, only way for me to know if it worked is to not get a payment demand in the mail in a few weeks... not a great indication. But thanks for trying to help

If you have an account, you can check your balance.

Bumper Tags: Bumper-mounted tags are required for vehicles with certain windshield features and metal in the glass. Because bumper tags can be reused, a refundable deposit is required. If you have questions, call 1-888-468-9824.

The issue is similar to that on the W213 (my 2017 - present). You can always put the sticker on a small piece of glass so that it can be moved as necessary or get the bumper mount model.
