Its natural prices would rise given the limitations of raw materials. Lithuim is the 25th most abundant element, there is lithium virtually......everywhere. Once production catches up to consumption, prices will stabilize. It should take around a decade. Even better lithuim is recyclable, once that part of cycle becomes established, prices will again find equilibrium. Manufacturers that make pouch batteries have recycling an integral part of the "plan", those that use regular .etal cased batteries like Tesla and Rivian do not. They have 2 choices, switch batteries or simply not be able to enter thevrycycling business which will leave them at a big future disadavantage.
