There is none. It does it automatically as you set up your profile.

The car takes care of face recognition but one needs to set that feature on or off. When activating facial recognition the first time, the car guides the driver through the process, I guess this is what you were referring to. I cannot remember but there must be a menu option to rerun the face recognition process.

When you add a new profile. I dont remember abd independent serring for it.

If I remember right, you have to select "protect content" and select facial recognition before the car creates the face recognition reference data file. Not sure if it works and how it works if no content is set protected. Perhaps then detects the face automatically as there is no risk for personal data exposure.

I started this off-shoot of the thread and now don't believe the 450+ has facial recognition, only the 580. At least that is what is indicated in the 2022 Order Guide.

Depends on the options, probably is as you say for US cars.

Dont know but, I would be surprised it didnt since the attention assist needs the infrared system to work! But given that companies are now charging for options that the car has already installed software I wouldn't put it past them! In europe tge 10 degree rear steering is a monthly subscription option....ridiculous.
