Dash Camera
I have been running the dash cam in my EQS for the last 6 months using a 1TB thumb drive. This week I received a message stating that the dash camera couldn't record. I replaced the drive with a spare I had and everything worked normally again.
I was thinking that maybe the first drive was full, and a reformat would fix everything. Oddly, I cannot access the drive on either my newer MacBook Air with USB C or my wife's computer with USB A.
Anyone else run into thumb drive issues with the dash cam?

There is a setting you can change which allows the system to over write older files as new ones are recorded.

You might also look into some similiar 90 degree adapters, depending on what type of USB drives you use, so your USB drives don’t stick out horizontally and get in your way when accessing the center console.

There a camera icon in the upper right corner of the screen and when press it you toggle the camera to loop recording/overwrite the file. I find this annoying that you have to do this every time you start the car am i missing something?

In my 2022 EQS450+ only the usb ports in the center armrest stowage area work for dashcam recoding. I tried all other USB ports but they dont work to record on dashcam.

@23-EQS580-SUV Once you select loop recording 1 time it keeps that setting. there is no need to do that each time you start the car.
