I’m looking at buying an EQS in the next month or so and want to get a charger installed. I already have a 50 circuit running to my driveway but, assuming the wiring can handle it, I could increase to an 60 amp circuit.
I’m not sure whether to the get juice box 48 or the charge point 50.
a couple of questions:
1. What is the fastest unit that the EQS (sedan or suv) can handle?
2. It would be located outdoors So i am concerned about unit longevity. I’d like to use a plug instead of hardwire so if the charging unit fails, I can replace it easily. But it looks like some of the higher amp units require hard wiring.

I don’t think you can go wrong with the ChargePoint wall mounted charger. Mine uses a plug. I’ve zero issues with it since I took possession of my 580 early last May.

My circuit is indoors, but I use a Wallbox unit to plug in to my installed NEMA 14-50 outlet and was able to seamlessly replace my first Wallbox unit which was defective. No issues achieving the max AC charge rate of 9.6 kW.
I have the Juice Box and have had no problems in over a year. As you are looking check with your local power company. Georgia Power was at one time selling a couple of charging stations for something like $200 off the retail price to customers. Don't know if they are still offering that discount.

If you're talking about fastest the EQS can handle for your driveway Level 2 charging, it really doesn't matter. You are going to charge overnight anyway, and a little faster or a little slower won't make much difference. Just get what works and isn't obvious junk, and you'll be fine.

I've had the ChargePoint for 1.5 years. It's been 100% reliable and I really like it. I'm building a new house and I'm gonna leave my current one installed for the buyer who buys my house. The new house is gonna get a new ChargePoint.

Our local utility (Entergy in New Orleans) is offering a $250 credit for the purchase of any EV charger, so I'm not locked into a particular brand. I can't really tell what the differences between JuiceBox and ChargePoint are, beyond that JuiceBox is a little less expensive. I'm also not sure which outlet is supposed to be used but I'm thinking the 14-50 since that is the only plug for the JuiceBox and woudl also be compatible with the ChargePoint.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the top chargers. I went with ChargePoint flex because I got an instant $500 rebate thru the electric company. I’m very happy with the charger so far (4 months).
The EQS has a 9.5kw AC charger. That translates to 32 amps. I can't comment on other chargers, but the Charge Point home flex has worked perfectly for me. I have 2, one for each of my homes. The app and the charger are both excellent. It's very well built and has a long, sturdy, yet flexible cord.

I have 2 as well and haven’t set up my second station yet. I was told you have to set up a second account with a different email address. Is that your experience?

Yes. A very small inconvenience. Both accounts will show up in the app. All you have to do is pick the one you are using. In fact, it doesn’t really matter since the charger will work without any intervention, just plug and go. Your original account will even register the charging session, it just wont be registered as done "at home charger". Note if the charger is not "on line" AKA green ring, it will not charge at full speed. There is a way to get around that changing the speed by blue tooth but Ive never done it. If the charger has a white ring "off line" unplugging and plugging back in fixes it without fail if your internet is otherwise in order.

I found the juice box 48 on sale for 599 at state electric so I ordered that one since it seemed like people had good experiences with both brands. Thanks for the insight!
I recommend the Tesla Universal Wall Connector. It has both connectors. I don't plan to buy a Tesla, but I think having the capability to connect to J1772 and NACS cars keeps my options flexible. It does max out at 48amps (9.6kW), for which you must have a 60amp circuit. Here's a quick video showing how easy it is to select the desired connector. It's brain dead simple.

GA Power is still offering this discount/rebate....my new charger cost $369.
Make sure you change your GA Power rate also to Residential TOU rates as just finished adding 37KW and cost was $2.75 with charging starting at 11pm....
I've got EVIQO more than an year ago for my EQS 580 and its been perfect. They have different options with plug or hardwire. I think its also priced pretty good. here is link to their site: https://eviqo.io/collections/all
